All is well though.\u00a0\u00a0I have\u00a0been able to write up a solo violin part for this song without the dotted quaver rhythms.\u00a0 You can find the solo violin part here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denleymusic.com\/musicblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/I-Vow-To-Thee-My-Country-violin-solo.pdf\">I Vow To Thee My Country &#8211; violin solo<\/a>.\u00a0 It is in D Major and\u00a0is in larger print to make it a little easier.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mceTemp mceIEcenter\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The only problem is that if you want a piano part to play with the violin, you&#8217;ll have to read a transposed version of my original, complete with dotted quaver rhythms.\u00a0 I&#8217;m going to suggest that the piano player would be able to read the piano part well enough, and therefore leave out the dotted quaver rhythms if accompanying the violin.\u00a0 Easy! ;D\u00a0 Unfortunately the words seemed to translate into an unknown language (the joys of computers), so I deleted the words in the transposed version.\u00a0\u00a0The now transposed\u00a0D Major score is\u00a0here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denleymusic.com\/musicblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/I-Vow-to-Thee-My-Country-D-major-score.pdf\">I-Vow-to-Thee-My-Country D major score<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I arranged this moving melody for a performance in our ANZAC Day Sacrament Meeting a few years ago. \u00a0I arranged it as a Soprano\/Alto duet with piano accompaniment.
