Wow, Sydney is alive with Music Seminars throughout January!<\/p>\n

Unfortunately I’m at home with my kids as I chose\u00a0to have\u00a0a family holiday a few months ago over workshops\/seminars so I’ll have to stay tuned for the Winter ones.<\/p>\n

But just in case you’re interested, here are the ones I know about:-<\/p>\n

Alfred Music Publishing “TEACH WORKSHOP”<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0 Join Dan Coates, Elissa Milne and Dr Gayle Kowalchyk in preparation for a year of excellence.\u00a0 This will be held on the 24th January in Sydney at the APRA Function Room.\u00a0 I received my pamphlet well after the early bird registration was due, which was odd, and all registrations for this event closed on the 31st December.\u00a0 If you ARE interested, call Music On The Move on Ph: 9585 1656 or visit their website: Music On The Move TEACH workshop information<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Encore Music Education<\/span><\/strong> (Kinder Beat etc) is holding a few workshops on their SMART system.\u00a0Info\u00a0is:-\u00a0<\/p>\n

Get your 2011 teaching year off to a SMART start by joining Mark Gibson\u00a0and Morna Robinson for a series of focused workshops that will explore\u00a0a whole new world of music.<\/p>\n

The Encore Achiever Series moves from Preliminary through to Grade 4. Mark will demonstrate how this series develops the complete musician through Keyboard Harmony, Chord Chart Reading, Performance Pieces, Piano Duets, Technical Foundation Work, Sight Reading and Improvisation.<\/p>\n
